Recording begins disabled.
A workspace or destination policy must explicitly enable recording. If the effective policy requires a caller announcement and none is configured, the routing decision fails closed to no recording.
The call keeps the decision it received.
Each call preserves the recording policy source, notice text, instruction timestamp, and decision reason. Later configuration changes do not rewrite that historical record.
Jurisdiction still determines the requirement.
Consent and notice laws vary. The service does not determine which law applies and does not represent that an announcement alone satisfies every requirement. Obtain qualified guidance before enabling recording.
Never capture payment-card details.
The provider contract and Twilio Adapter expose pause and resume hooks for a future controlled payment workflow. Version 1 does not expose a customer payment-capture flow that invokes them. Use a dedicated payment mechanism; never speak card information while recording.
